Happy Pi Day!  Celebrate and help spread math excitement throughout schools everywhere!

We would like to extend a big thank-you to our newest contributor, Mr. Tyler Binkley.  You can see his video collection at his video index page.  Mr. Binkley’s videos are fun and innovative as he tries to capture the attention of his students by appealing to their interests.

Today is our 2-year anniversary of being in operation, and the efforts of all of our contributors have helped raise the number of math videos on MathVids to close to 900.  We are still hoping to fill out some of the topics that do not have as many videos, so watch for more statistics and Calculus videos in the next year, but we are very happy with where the past two years have taken us.

As we continue to receive calls from libraries and schools inquiring about school-wide subscriptions, please mention MathVids to your school or library administrator and have them contact us (848-MATH-411) for a free site-wide evaluation period to see if MathVids is right for your school / library.
